Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt pre-flop. It’s the best possible pre-flop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But despite this many competitors find themselves on the wrong end when given this hand.

When you are given a pair of Aces, you just do not drop out before theflop. You are positioned with the best possible hand at this part of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I would say definitely no to that.

Bear in mind, you are attempting to generate as much money out of this strong position. You will want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will simply scare most gamblers into dropping out without placing a wager.

If you are in the initial position (1st or second to cast a bet), you’ll place a single wager. Any player with a good hand will call, with luck someone may raise. If there has been a raise do not hop to re-raise or call, pause for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

Following the flop your course of action will be to eliminate any player that might be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise aggressively, if you’re lucky you will fool one player into believing that you are tricking.

If you’re in the center or late seat (one of the last to place a wager) you’ll watch as everybody calls and then raise. Even though you are holding a pair of aces, if possible try to avoid a show-down. Guard your hand by forcing others to fold after the flop. If you don’t get rid of your adversaries you chance losing your hand.
