Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the wild west in a fantastic game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that players compete against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about other, more skillful players taking their money.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty decisions.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a long time with just a little amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands must be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the dealer is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
