Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in a fantastic game for beginning level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the house, unlike most other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By playing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about other, more skillful players taking their moolla.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game pace, novices will be able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick choices.
It is also much simpler to wager on for an extended time with basically a small amount of money since, to not win, both of your hands must be under both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is assigned seven cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards face down.
One five card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
