Online poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or other types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players are given five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s value is equal to your original ante, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet is the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus a figure on par with the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays cash equal to your original bet and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
